Summertime and the Living Is Easy...
I've got a whole whack of gigs to tell you about. Check out where I'll be this summer on the Upcoming Shows list to the right. We're sketching out plans for the new record; it will be a small group affair this time round.
I did my first tour of Japan in April and will be heading back this Fall. The big news is, I'll be sharing the stage with none other than James Moody and Bill Cunliffe. The music will be great, so if you have any plans to be in Asia, that one will be fun!

This is far from broadcast quality, but a friend of mine pulled a recording off the floor last year of me singing a Bob Brough-Sonja Tran original. Bob Brough's tenor solo is stunning and I love to sing Sonja's impeccable lyrics. It's called The Afterburn of Love. Check it out:

What a year…
I've been travelling all over Canada and the States, singing my buns off and having a great time. Throw in a little downtime at the cottage and you've pretty much encapsulated the past whirlwind-of-a-year.
The big news is the new record and the fun we had making it. After sitting in on some other players great recordings I decided it was time to make one to call my own
